We have been offering surfing lessons for a few years now. It’s a sport that will reward you whenever you put time into it. Once you start this sport you will never look back!
We offer lessons to teach you the basics of this sport and to help you safely enjoy time on the water. Our lessons are run with 24hr notice and will provide you with all the necessary skills and correct technique to get up and riding.
We also offer packages for those wanting to take their surfing to the next level.
LESSONS ARE FACILITATED BY A QUALIFIED INSTRUCTOR IN A GROUP OR PRIVATELY, ALL EQUIPMENT IS INCLUDED.

Welcome to Open Ocean. Our new Open Ocean Kitesurf Center is located on the popular Big Bay beachfront, & we stock a comprehensive range of kitesurf & surf brands. We offer sales, rentals & IKO lessons from this center. Our Open Ocean Surf Academy, which is 50m from the beach, runs lessons at Big Bay, Eden on Bay, Blouberg.
